Why we publish our file list

We publish a list of files on our website every 6 months.

We are required to do this by Senate procedural order of continuing effect 12.

What the file list includes

This indexed list includes:

  • all files created during the last 6 months

Files are listed under the relevant agency and then by subject. This makes it easier for the public to find information.

Under the order, the list does not include:

  • files related to the internal administration of the National Commission such as staff or personnel, accounts, training or general administrative matters
  • case-related files such as personal representations or dealing with the personal affairs of departmental or agency clients.
